We celebrated our Third Anniversary on 13/10/2010 (shashthi tithi of shardiya navaratra).
Yet, we have done a little effort for the welfare of Educationists as our tribute towards those teachers who had taught us in schools in our early childhood, there are many new challenges still before us.We have to unite all educationists
for RESTORATION OF EARNED LEAVE and struggle for implementation of
BENEFIT OF BUNCHING in pay scales.
DELTA was the first organisation which uploaded PAY SCALES WITH BUNCHING on its website for welfare of Educationists in last September 2008. Our data were not easy to understand and some people denied us too.
We were silently watching the progress and accepted our criticism with smiles.
The
Joint Anomaly Committee formed at Central Level has not given its final report up to now and the process of anomaly removal is
pending in all departments.
The up gradation (step-up) orders of pay scales issued in March 2010 are useless as this will club many seniors at the same entry pay of Rs 17140 or 18150 along with their juniors. Then what benefit of seniority are they going to get!!!
Some
'groups' are engaged in spreading rumours about the implementation of basic x 2.28 from last 18-20 months but nothing has come out from their
Pandora's boxes......Today the scene is clear....
1. Earned Leave facility has been scrapped and we are at the same position of 'before 1981'.
2.Benefit of BUNCHING is our right for removal of anomaly and it MUST be implemented to avoid loss of about 3-4 thousands per month in our salary.
PRT pay scales were accepted from the same methods of BUNCHING as described by us by all education deptts like KVS, NVS, DoE, MCD, NDMC, CTSA, many State and UT Govt, Railways, Autonomous Bodies etc.
All these Govt entities had accepted that TGT pay scales will start from Rs. 17140 with GP 4600 whereas PGT from Rs 18150 with GP 4800....same as described by us since last september 2008.
Yet, there are some teachers' unions which are still demanding 7450 x 1.86 and 7500 x 1.86.
We are not opposing their demands........Our best wishes are always with them.
Our responsibility is to keep all Educationists alert for their legal rights only. All information published by DELTA were proved '24-carat pure and genuine' by time and we gained credit throughout the country.There are many Associations of Educationists in India and we had always tried to unite them for teachers' cause too in last three years.
We will request all of them to unite for a single demand ''BENEFIT OF BUNCHING" as stated in Rule 7 of 6 CPC and start dharna pradarshan, gherao etc before going to a court.
We had done better in the field of RTI Act 2005 and RTE Act 2009 also in last years and worked better with many NGOs, social activists and media-persons.
All of you are advised to come close to general public by helping and motivating them to use RTI againt exploitation and corruption. It will re-establish our respect in society.Remember those days when teachers were writing and reading letters of villagers. They were seen as reliable well wishers of family and even many newly married brides were sharing their grief and pain with them.
We have to try to gain same respect and reliablity in society by drafting RTI applications for general public in coming years.
Many Govt Deptts have disclosed their expenditures under section-4 implementation now.
All of you are requested to see the expenditures done by Organising Committee of Commonwealth Games 2010 which had spent crores of tax money on "CONSULTANCY. "
