Principals are being Fined now

Dear Friends,

Your efforts are taking shapes now. Many Principals are in queue of CIC penalties who disobeyed the orders of the Central Information Commission to display all welfare schemes applicable for students on a display board in the school premises. You all have done nice work in collecting and monitoring the status of these boards. Now THESE TOUGH SKINNED CROCODILES are being punished on your reports.

CHEERS...

A penalty of Rs 5000/- has been imposed on two Principals Dr. Anil Kumar Vashisth, Principal, GBSSS, Jaffarabad and Mr. K. P. Mallick, Principal, GBSSS, U Block, Mongolpuri, New Delhi. The DDE of North East was not present on that day but a second and final show cause notice has been issued to him and the other Principals of North East who were absent on that day. The next and final hearing will be held on 23/12/2009 at 12.00 pm.

Keep rolling....young Turks.....

We are monitoring the status of welfare boards

It is one of the great satisfactions for all of us that the Hon'ble CIC (Central Information Commission) is appreciating our efforts in bringing transparency in Education sector.

We are now monitoring the status of some kinds of Display Boards which were ordered by Hon'ble CIC to erect near the office of the schools showing all welfare schemes which are applicable for students clearly in Hindi and English, like distribution of books, uniform, scholarship, geometry box, shoes, bags etc. As you know, the FALSE compliance reports were already sent by most of the Principals but the 'GROUND REALITIES' were something else.

We were made authorised by Hon'ble CIC to report about the realities.

Now about 47 out of 100 Govt School Principals were issued SHOW CAUSE NOTICES that why they had sent a false report and 'CHEATED ' the Supreme Authority implementing RTI ACT.

You all are requested to keep your eyes alert in all schools and send regular reports in night after 9:30 p.m. on the new mail id given to you all having common password.

We need WEB VOLUNTEERS

DEAR friends

Section 4 of the Right to Information Act, which lists 17 sub clauses obligates all public authorities to proactively disclose information about its functioning. According to the RTI Act all public authorities were supposed to have implemented Section 4 within 120 days from the enactment of the Act (which is by 12th of October 2005). Section 4 is an important provision of the RTI Act, as it requires categorization and cataloging of information, presenting information in a form such that it can be accessed easily by citizens, update the information provided at regular intervals and publish all information such that it is widely disseminated.

We are working with Hon'ble CIC in monitoring all important websites of the Government Departments which have disclosed a little information on their websites. We are collecting reports about such websites and departments and reporting Hon'ble CIC which is issuing Show Cause Notices to the Directors of that Department.

We need WEB VOLUNTEERS for this important respnosibility given.

As a WEB VOLUNTEER , you have to surf websites of Government Departments and find out the 'anomalies and the lacuna' in those website. You may report directly to Hon'ble CIC or us.

Thanks

Can we offer a nice stay to these friends in our homes in DELHI ?

Dear Friends,

Thousands of teachers are coming to Delhi for their right justified demands. We should accompany them at Jantar Mantar on 09-11-2009.

We, most of the teachers of DELHI have our own homes. We are puting just an idea before all of you to offer free stay to these teachers in our own homes. It will strongly bond our human relationship with other teachers in other states. If you like to share your breads and tea with friends from other states, we would like to request you to write us positively or make a telephone call.
